Hi, I'm Sammie!
Better known as SamAnimatesss (don't forget the triple S at the end!) online, I am a 19 year old Korean-American and Hispanic 3D artist & animator and have been for over 10 years, starting when I was 9 years old in July of 2016, primarily animating FNAF fan content ever since!
When I began 3D art, my online alias was TheLivingFredbearPlush, lasting from July 2016 to early 2017. I then took on the name Electric Kyrox, later getting shortened to Kyrox, lasting from 2017 to mid 2020, when I decided to just go by Sam. In late 2022, YouTube introduced handles similar to other social medias, which is where I first used the name SamAnimatesss and is now the alias I promote, but my display names are still just Sam.
I grew up homeschooled for most of my life, leaving public school in the middle of second grade. During my years at home, after getting my very own PC in 2016, I taught myself how to animate and edit everything I make in multiple softwares. I spent the first 6 years of my 3D hobby honing my skill in Source Filmmaker, before fully transitioning to Blender 3D in 2023. I learned it all by myself and there is nothing I am more proud of.
Born on December 22nd, 2006, sharing the same birthday as my mother, I've lived my life with a fortunate and loving family and parents who support me in every way and I recognize I am so lucky to have that, and there's nothing I am more grateful for, and I can confidently say I would not be where I'm at in my 3D journey without them & their support.
As a homeschooled kid, most of my friends are online, most who I've met through this hobby, and most I've stuck with since 2016. I have the greatest friends I could ask for and I wouldn't give them up for the world. I've learned how to love those who are not my blood and have learned what a truly great friendship is because of all of them, and most of them I would not have met if it weren't for this hobby.
I absolutely love, love, love movies, music and especially video games. My favorite video game series consist of the Soulsborne series, the Resident Evil & Silent Hill series, the Portal games, and, of course, Five Nights at Freddy's.
As for movies? I'm a huge, huge MCU fan, I love the Dune movies, I grew up loving Pixar's Cars trilogy and still love it just the same today, I really enjoy The Conjuring and so much more!
And for music? I primarily enjoy rock and metal, but I'm just into whatever sounds good to me, really!
I adore My Chemical Romance, Pierce The Veil, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Ice Nine Kills, Nirvana and a whole lot more!
I haven't done any paid work yet, which might come as a surprise to some since I've done it for 10 years? I'm not sure, but as I've gotten older it's been something I've thought about here and there, and I'm definitely open to offers!
